Ray’s Adventure – Ras el Matn

” Ray’s Adventure is a one of a kind destination where the entire family can enjoy the nature with countless activities and delicious food! ” This is what their facebook page states , so we had to take the kids and go there ..

After a 35 minute drive from beirut we arrived at out location , an outdoor space with a restaurant , several cabanas , a place for BBQ/picnic , and several games for kids ( ray’s cabane , sand box (3 meters wide ) , inflatable climbing wall ( to my extent its dangerous since its facing the valley below !!) , soap soccer inflatable area (wasn’t inflated ) ,

The activities for the kids started with some music and plastic balls collecting , then they moved to climbing the inflatable object , then the fun part begins , The water games ! water fights were so much fun for the kids playing and the parents watching ,

For lunch the menu is minimal , has only basic stuff , from hummus to mtabal , shanklish , french fries bbq plates , burger plates , chicken nuggets plate ,

The food was actually really  good as we tried it and portions are OK , 1 kg of bbq is 12 skewers wish is great i think … PRices are average to low ,

1 KG of bbq , 1 chicken nuggets plate , 1 hummus , 1 fattoush , 1 shanklish , 6 pieces rkakat and 8 soft drinks were ordered , (total bill 142,000)

The Verdict :

The place is great if you have kids and looking for a new way to spend your sunday , Their WCs really need a lot of work , tissues were missing , broken mirrors , doors don’t close well , and dirty floors , ( i know its a camping site but hygiene is also important ) , the games safety needs to be checked as well , proper air circulating fans should be installed as well because on a hot summery sunday its unbearable to stay more than a couple of hours ,
