Maracas Tequila Bar - Jounieh

Maracas Tequila Bar .. A place that shall rise above all ! That's the only valid verdict any foodie visiting that place should give ! 

Well am skeptical when it comes to mexican restaurants in lebanon because only a few have perfected that cuisine ... and maracas is definitely one of them ..

I heard a lot about the place and read a lot of reviews about it , and when we were invited by Zomato for a foodie meetup i had high expectations for the place , Well those expectations were beaten by miles ! It was even better than i expected ! 

The place is a cosy venue with genuine Latin/Mexican ambience from the music to the decorations to the walls and ornaments all around the place 

We were greeted by the owner and the more than friendly staff that are willing to literally do anything to satisfy their visitors ! 

First we kicked off the night with pitchers of Margaritas that were served through out the night .

and now comes the juicy part : 

Starters : 

Mix Al Pastor : Soft tacos with marinated strips and pieces of chicken and beef , ... Well it was amazing ! with a pinch of lemon juice, & Mexican Salsa ! 

Mix Quesadillas : well as the name says , chicken and beef quesadillas served with sour cream and topped with Guac ! IT WAS PERFECT

Chiquila : Since every starter set menu has to have a star , this serving deserves it best ! Marinated chicken slices stuffed inside soft tortilla bread ! Like nothing you have tasted before !! 

After that we were served with 2 salads , and since mexican cuisine is scarce with this type of serving , so i found the salads Good but not that special .

 The Main Dish was a sizzling experience ! 

Firey Hot Mix of beef & Chicken Fajita ! WOW just WOW , chicken perfectly done , beef amazingly seasoned and cooked ! Well it was an experience itself ! 

And since the guys in charge about the place are more than professional , they overheard us talking about a plate on the menu not found in the meetup , so they had it prepared for us ! They call it the Chili Con Carne ! (Shalfout ! ) if you're not a fan of spicy/hot food i don't recommend you order it ! but it was just too good to be true ! 

As an overall experience , this place is a must ! a Must visit at least once a month , everything there is perfect which makes it an experience instead of just a visit ! 

Recommended BIGTIME !
