The CheeseCake Factory - Verdun / Feb 16

Some reviewers would disagree with me and what am gonna say and a lot can relate to this am sure ...

But  i just want to thank the cheesecake factory lebanon for ruining the perfect idea  i had about the global cheesecake factory which i used to love thanks to the dubai branch ! but now the whole culinary experience in the place is shaken and i utterly disliked what happened ... I don't think am going back again ,...

I was waiting actually to try half the menu in lebanon before writing my review because for a place with 250+ menu items you have to be fair and try at least 50 to 60 dishes before being able to write a descent review and give the place its right but yesterday's visit made me cut it short and write this review

We arrived at 8 PM and the place was half full .. we were accompanied by the hostess to our table on the left side of the venue and given our menu ...

We ordered

 a shrimp popcorn appetizer - Soaking in oil , Shrimp was missing in most of the fried crusts , but lets be fair the dip was good :P

, a chicken madeira plate - the chicken actually tasted amazing but the disaster was with the mashed potatoes aside , you can actually taste the butter used (or whatever animal product used to cook it ) in a way that disgusts you , and leave it 5 minutes  aside and bammmmmm a brick wall is found in your plate ! 

Chicken Katsu : A disaster on brown rice :) , The chicken was chewy , the brown rice was under cooked ! , and the real disaster was in the bed of Spicy miso sauce which we ordered to be mild to low spiciness but of course it came flaming hot and the plate remained untouched 

The Americana cheese burger : Nicely presented cut in quarters , but the problem was i ordered the meat to be well done , i even told him if you can burn the meat i have no problem with that because i hate to see blood in my burger ! and the surprise was when the burger arrived it had red blood stains(as seen in one of the photos ) and the meat was medium well to medium rare in some pieces ! The fries aside were oversalted in a way that you can't not squint after having a handful . !! 

As i know and after trying Cheesecake factory before the plates can be customized to the customers needs and how he prefers the dish ! well this doesn't happen here , they use one standard for all don't bother to customize your plate , you won't be getting it ! 

The staff is friendly and sometimes don't stop talking but its their job to always convince you that their food is the best and encourage you to try things you don;t want and they even charge you for that :) even if they offered to give it to you as a treat :) i just love that !
