Onno - Badaro
Well am no expert in armenian cuisine , but my review is based on several
visits to a couple of armenian serving places and upon that am comparing taste
to value to service .
We reserved for a late lunch a table outside but when we arrived we chose to
sit inside since it was hot , and we were surprised that one of the waiters
came to us thinking there was something wrong and our table wasn't suitable so
we chose inside , but we came clear and told him it was hot (this is a
professional act from his side that most restaurants lack !! )
The feast started with :
-Hummus Chicken : Tiny pieces of chopped chicken with an abundancy of fried
nuts laying on a smooth creamy bed of hummus paste ! amazing it was !
-Mouhammara : Freshly prepared and hotness wasn't bothering me ! it was really
good
-Basterma CHeese rolls : we ordered it though it wasn't on the menu and were
amazed that it came with a side of garlic labne ! just dip it and indulge in
the flavors !!
And then started rolling the main dishes !
- ITCH : in other places they serve it cold , well here its different , it came
warm and full of flavors !
-Fishna Kebab : This plate had mixed feelings on the table , my partner in
crime liked it while i felt the meat taste was dominant and couldn't stand it .
-Manti : This plate had also mixed feeligns since over here i loved it and my
partner preferred a softer dough around the meat ....
Once we were done we were presented with some delicious treats , Baskot w raha
, and Karabeej like squares ! they were a perfect ending to the feast
I loved the place , from the ambience to the professional staff to the amazing
taste and affordable prices , i would recommend it and definitely bookmarking
the other branches to try !
