La Creperie - Kaslik

Everyone who read my review earlier saw how much i was not satisfied with some of the Items we were served , but his time was a lot different and almost perfect ! We were invited by La creperie to a zomato foodie meetup to try the new menu items and changes made to their menu (Remarkable indeed )
First we arrived at 8 PM sharp and enjoyed the last minutes of the sunset from the garden overcasting the Jounieh bay , with amazing drinks served from the Bar,
The Menu was diverse and spectacular to be honest and you can literally sense the improvement and changes done to the old menu items and the great flavor in the new ones .
Ill be brief with the servings and verdict below :
Appetizers :
-Salade de Quinoa ( Seasoned to perfection)
-Salade de Lentilles ( First time tasting it , instant love relation )
-Salade de Jeune Pousses (Well it was OK , Needs some tweaks )
-Salad d'epinards : Loved the colors and fresh taste
-Tartare De Saumon : Shockingly amazing
-Cuisses de Grenouilles a la Provencale : Didn't expect it to be this perfect ! Tender and moist !
Then came the crepe specialities :
-Crepe Maison : We were served both the Turkey and the Ham versions of it , and both were amazing
-Crepe Napolitaine : Juicy on the inside , Perfect crust on the outside
-Crepe Indienne : We go back and forth me and this crepe , last time i tried it didnt like it , this time and after the improvement , it was just too good to be true !
After indulging into the festival of colors and flavors , the real deal was about to happen with the main courses prepared with care and love !
-Burger Maison : Didnt expect this place to be that good with burgers ! And the side fries are crispy , not oily and perfectly salted
-Boeuf strogonof : Well i had 2 plates of this ,...... (oops)
-Blanc de poulet au chevre : The chicken was a bit dry on the inside with no taste of the chevre
-Loup de Mer : Perfectly baked , with rosemary and lemon slices on the inside to add that perfect juiciness needed !
-Tagliatelles aux champignons:was missing the aftertaste :(
And The creme de la creme and my personal favorite La creperie Item was about to be served next :

- Le tarte au chocolat : Not on the foodie menu but the guys were super nice to serve it since i was nagging that i love it ! Perect combination , perfect sweetness , JUST PERFECT !!!
-Red fruits salad : Fruitgasm in a bowl !
3 more items were served but didnt have the chance/stomach space to taste them , the baba au rhum and the fondant au chocolat noir , and the crepe noiraude et norvegienne !

Old Review
The latest zomato meetup was at La Creperie ,
From the moment you give your car to the Valet and welcomed by the Giant Olive tree in the parking space you feel this place has something special to offer , You are then surrounded by trees from one side and an old wall from the other until you reach the reception area where you are welcomed with their professional team of hostesses .
We were accompanied to our table where the team was waiting , and as we stepped in through several rooms , you can still notice the french touch in the place ( Rennovated , though i preferred the old Creperie ) , You have several themed rooms to choose from , My personal favorites are the butterflies room , and the birds & ducks room , we were seated at the chimney room , a romantic setting for couples i might say with a lot of preys hanging on the wall (not animal lover's friendly) .
From the moment we sat down the waiters took our orders for drinks , and since it is a zomato meetup the menu is already set and came as below :
Le Salades et Entrees :
-Asperges Grillees (Under-seasoned)
-Burrata Et ses tomates (Perfect just the way it is )
-Foies de volaille au porto ( I only liked the sauce its dipped in )
-Tartare au saumon Epinards (The salmon was warm !! and under seasoned )
Les Crepes :
-Indienne (needs a lot of salt )
-Maison (Nothing special about it but edible )
-Oeuf Jambon Fromage (felt like a mankushe of cheese and jambon )
Les Viandes et Voilalles
-Filet de boeuf Black Angus 200 GR (We weren't asked how we like our Steak so we got it medium rare )
-Poussin Ecosse Grille (Its Great and the chicken tasted amazing )
-Loup De Mer (The fish is missing the fish taste ! )
Les Desserts :
-Tarte au Chocolat (Heaven for dark chocolate lovers )
-Cheese Cake (amazing and needs nothing more )
-Mille-Feuilles et Glace a la Vanille (One of the best i've tasted on their menu )
-Salade De Fruits (actually used it to change the taste between plates )
-Chocolat Amere Avec Banane ( Tasted the banana more than anything , Dark Chocolate and bitter ! )
-La Creperie Crepe (Really sweet that you can't have more than 1 bite !)
And a huge selection of drinks and wines ( Rouge , Blanc , Rose ...) or open premium bar .
As a verdict , I wouldn't go there for just going there i mean a normal plan ! I would reserve for a romantic dinner for their amazing view of jounieh bay , and have dessert only ...
Honestly i preferred the older version of la creperie ...
As for the pricing its average to high on some menu items , some items are overpriced and some are average .(yesterday's meal was complimentary)
